Stronger Together

Confidential support for young people who have experienced or are at risk of abuse and sexual exploitation.

Our Stronger Together service supports young people aged 11 – 24 who have experienced or are at risk of abuse and sexual exploitation. The service provides confidential, client centred individual support to young people and also delivers groupwork sessions on raising awareness of abuse and exploitation through schools and community groups.

The groupwork provides structured sessions on aspects such as online safety, grooming, sexualisation of children and young people, protective behaviours, assertiveness, identity, resilience, strengths and aspirations.

Individual support provides a safe space for young people to talk about things that may be affecting their life as a result of abuse or sexual exploitation.

Awareness raising sessions can also be arranged for parents/carers/professionals to share information on online safety to empower parents and carers to support children and young people in their care to be aware of and identify risks to ensure they keep themselves safe.
