Confidential, trauma informed support for children and families.


The service was established to offer awareness raising and intensive support for children, parents and families. The service offers awareness raising and intensive support for children and young people experiencing a range of issues. Some areas of concern worked with were:

  • Parental or family separation
  • Bereavement
  • Bullying
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Physical Abuse
  • Family Illness
  • Isolation due to ethnicity or religion


The service offers art therapy, therapeutic play, counselling, advocacy, befriending and group support. The service aims to improve self-esteem, build resilience and enhance confidence, enabling children to be safe and secure. Throughout each session positive coping skills are taught and reinforced to create stable environments and situations

Our Children and Families Service offers support to children aged 5 – 18 who have experienced life circumstances that have impacted on their wellbeing.
