New Directions Project
Forth Valley Post 14 hours per week
Glasgow Post 14 hours per week
£25,440 - £27,709 per annum (pro rata)

We are looking for 2 Development Workers to work within this project supporting children and young people aged 5 – 18 who have experienced any type of abuse/exploitation or trauma in the Forth Valley and Glasgow/Lanarkshire areas and their families.

Edinburgh post 10 hours per week
£25,440 - £27,709 per annum (pro rata)
1-year post

Thanks to support from St James Place Partnership, we have a new additional post for the New Directions Project in the Edinburgh area. This post will have more of an emphasis on providing support and raising awareness of the issues of childhood sexual exploitation.

The ideal candidate for all 3 posts will have a qualification in counselling, art therapy, psychology or a related field to Diploma/Degree level and a proven track record of providing trauma informed interventions with children and young people in an individual therapeutic setting.
